Global Tracking Solutions is a finalist in the 5th Annual Australian Mining Prospect Awards for its development of a Radio Frequency Identification device (RFID).

Global Tracking Solutions (GTS) has developed a turnkey solution for the tracking of explosives using RFID. The turnkey solution meets the standards set by the Brazilian Government and the European Union that all explosives be tracked at a unit level.

The solutions cover six areas from, RFID Tag layout, Data storage, Explosives manufacturing, Detonator tracking, Magazine management and Field tracking.
The protocol is currently under review by the Australian ISO working sub - committee for bar-codes and RFID.
